PlayerX: World Map
Embark on a web3 journey with PlayerX, a collection of utility-enabled PFPs powered by Sei.
Overview
The World Map is a dynamic document showcasing our thoughts and progress on everything PlayerX and Rewind Labs. This collaborative map is designed to adapt to the evolving web3 and Sei landscape. At Rewind Labs, our mission has always been to facilitate the adoption of Sei and expand the ecosystem, while placing a strong emphasis on creating a fun and unique experience for users. This has been stated on our website since we launched and remains unchanged. We believe there is significant potential in the Sei network given the high throughput, low transaction costs, and the strong narrative around EVM parallelization and want to help build out the ecosystem.
PlayerX NFT Contract: CW2981-Leveling
To demonstrate our commitment to building, we crafted our own custom NFT contract that elevates the existing standard with an innovative on-chain leveling experience. In line with the ethos of the Sei ecosystem, we released our contract as open source for the community to build upon and refine over time.

Leveling
With our unique staking system, each PlayerX NFT gains experience and gradually levels up, all while remaining securely stored in your wallet. Each player has the ability to passively accumulate experience points over time and can actively earn bonus experience points by participating in daily quests. As your player levels up, it evolves, unlocking unique rewards at various milestones and becoming increasingly distinctive over time.
Holders can send their players out to train and level up in the world. A party is comprised of all of the players that a holder has in their wallets. All players passively gain experience points at the same rate over time.
Daily Quests
Once you send your player out to train, they can also complete daily quests. Each player can complete a quest to accumulate bonus experience points, on top of the passive experience gain. Holders can connect to the leveling dashboard and send their players out once a day. Larger parties (holders with multiple players) and “rarer” players will generate incrementally more experience points on these daily quests.
Each incremental player you have in your party increases the daily quest experience points for the entire party by 1%. For example, if you own 6 players and send them out for a daily quest, the entire party will gain an additional 5% of experience on the daily quest.
In addition, “rarer” players generate incrementally more experience on daily quests by ~0–30%, depending on their rarity rankings. The higher the rank, the more bonus experience they will gain from completing daily quests. For the purposes of daily quest, re-rolling traits will not affect rarities. This means daily quest experience bonus will be based on “base” rarity, before any re-rolling.
Each player can complete 1 daily quest per day (resetting at 0:00 UTC). If a player completes a quest 3 days in a row, they will gain incremental bonus experience on their daily quest at a rate of 1% per day thereafter up to a cap of 5% at a 7-day streak.
Leveling Rewards
Over time as your player levels up, you will have the opportunity to customize your NFT. Every 5 levels, your player will be rewarded Reroll Tokens for a total of 15 tokens in Season 1 of leveling. Over time, you will be able to redeem these Reroll Tokens to customize your player at certain levels.
Customizations
See below for when customizable features are unlocked. Note these milestones are subject to change over time.
- Level 5: Name your player (Player #123 can become Amarant #123)
- Level 10: Choose a class (archer, mage, rogue, or warrior)
- Level 20: Unlock class-specific traits and re-rolling

The Reroll Shop
The Reroll Shop allows holders to re-roll certain traits of their players on-chain. To use the Reroll Shop, holders must redeem a Reroll Token. Traits chosen to be replaced will update the metadata of your player on-chain and cannot be reversed. More details below.

Body type and certain features cannot be rerolled. This, along with coordinated drop rates, will preserve the general rarity across the collection. Drop rates for each trait will be published shortly.
Reroll Tokens never expire so you can redeem them whenever you like. The tokens are deflationary with a fixed supply (~15,000). Reroll Tokens will be tradeable so you can sell excess tokens you don’t plan on using to other holders or buy more tokens to try rerolling for desirable traits you want. Choose your traits wisely, and good luck rolling.
As time goes on, your player will gradually become a unique reflection of your identity as you embark on your journey through Sei. Our story begins with you, a community of courageous adventurers pushing the limits of what can be achieved in web3.
Season 1 Drop Rates
Each class-specific trait can only be rolled by that specific class (e.g. only mages can roll an Enigma clothing trait). Drop rates are subject to change over time. Certain hat traits (Party Hat, Devil Horn, Headphones, Bunny Ears, and Cat Ears) are excluded from re-rolling their hat due to incompatibility with other traits, but they are able to re-roll their hair trait.
Leaderboard
Players and parties will be ranked on a leaderboard based on the total experience they have accumulated. Train your way to the top of the rankings passively by staking and actively by participating in daily quests. Demonstrate to the Sei world your dedication to leveling up and your commitment to the community.
Future Developments
Leveling and customization mark just the beginning of our journey into the Sei world. Who knows what lies ahead? Maybe we’ll meet new friends or companions on our journey. The world of Sei is expansive and full of mysteries. Let’s explore together and shape this world.
Achievements
Another core part of games is achievements. Achievements are generally included to motivate players to continue playing by setting clear goals and rewarding them for accomplishing these goals. Who doesn’t love completing a task or reaching a milestone? We are exploring implementation of achievements to give players a better sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
Guilds
We played a lot of MMOs growing up and a central experience of that was guilds. People enjoy collaborating and playing games together. We are exploring methods to incentivize players to form communities.
